Over the last decade, researchers have analyzed an enormous amount of genetic information gathered from both modern humans and our distant, ancestral forebears. Denisovan DNA, in contrast, is concentrated mainly in populations from Melanesia, with much smaller amounts of Deoxyribonucleic acid plant in both mainland Asians and Native American populations.
